Girls on the Run North Bay fosters a healthy mindset and life strategies in girls through experiential learning discussions, out-door play activities, and movement after-school throughout Sonoma, Napa & Solano counties. Young girls (ages 8 to 13), and particularly, those who come from traditionally under-represented ethnic and racial groups and financially disadvantaged families will be given the opportunity to learn positive behavioral health strategies by participating in the preventative youth development program that positively impacts their social &
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area provides one-to-one community-based mentoring to children between the ages of 6 and 18 who reside in the nine Bay Area counties (Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and Solano). We match volunteer adults (18 and older) with children in need of extra support and mentoring to help them with life challenges.
